2011 Sprockets Music Video Competition Judges!!
Christopher Cogan is a Visual Artist and Filmmaker who lives and works in Athens, GA. His films and installations have been presented in numerous shows and exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States. He has worked extensively in television and in the visual arts in France and America for over two decades. Last year he participated in the Oberhausen Film Festival with his 16mm film “Tunnels”, which will also screen at the 2011 Leeds Film Festival in England. Upcoming exhibitions of his work include the Xcentric Series at the Centre for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona. Cogan is represented by Canyon Cinema, San Francisco and Light Cone, Paris. He currently teaches video art and experimental media in the Art X department of the Lamar Dodd School of Art, Athens, GA.
Gordon Lamb moved to Athens in 1989 and has been involved with the music scene in multiple capacities since that time. He is a writer and columnist for Flagpole Magazine, co-owner/organizer of The Athens PopFest and publisher of,,

John Keane is a producer, engineer, musician and author of the popular book "the Musician's Guide to Pro Tools." He has more than 25 years of experience in the music industry and owns and operates John Keane Studios in Athens GA. Keane is known for his work with R.E.M., Indigo Girls, Cowboy Junkies and Widespread Panic. Keane has worked on numerous gold and multi platinum records and in 2011 was nominated for a Grammy in category of Best Engineered Album, for his work on Widespread Panic’s album Dirty Side Down. He plays guitar, bass, pedal steel guitar, and a little banjo on occasion.

Melissa Love is Senior Director at songfinder - one of the world's leading music licensing and music supervision companies for television, film, advertising, promos, and radio. Prior to joining songfinder, Melissa Love worked closely with both television producers and music industry executives as the Manager of Music Rights, Clearances and Reporting in the Legal Department of Turner Broadcasting. Well versed in the intricacies of music licensing for film, television and new media, Melissa has managed all facets of the music licensing process as both licensor and licensee. She obtained her Masters in Cinema Studies from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and is a member of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Georgia Production Partners and Atlanta Film 365.
Gregg Hale worked as a set dresser and prop man on features and TV shows in Orlando and LA for ten years before producing THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT in 1999. He co-created the television series Freakylinks for Fox Television and was the primary creative behind the show’s website which is still one of the most extensive works of “e-fiction” ever presented on the internet. Gregg has directed a number of award-winning regional and national television commercials for clients such as General Mills, and the NY Mets. His first feature film as director, SAY YES QUICKLY, played in film festivals nationwide in 2005 and won Best Feature at the IndieMemphis festival. In addition to his film work, he is one of the Executive Creative Directors at Campfire, an ad industry leader in transmedia advertising, where he created campaigns for TRUE BLOOD, TERMINATOR: SALVATION, and THE 4400 among many others.  His most recent long-form film projects were SEVENTH MOON, a horror film starring Amy Smart distributed by Lionsgate and THE POSSESSION, a supernatural thriller currently in post-production.
