[ 2009 TEENSCREEN FILMFEST ]
in association with the ATHFEST2009 music and arts festival [june 25-28, 2009] the TEENSCREEN FILMFEST features a lineup of diverse short films made by local teenage artists, including music videos, stop-motion lego animation, and the new short films and behind-the-scenes documentary made by this year's PROJECT::TEENSCREEN workshop team
this next generation of athens filmmakers will be in attendance to present and discuss their films

Two photographers battle each other in a duel of skill, wit, and style.

Several students are having a bad day... but maybe not as bad as the folk group following them around.

The story of one high school boy trying to find a date for the homecoming dance, and only technology seems to be holding him back.

Several students rely on the talents of a mysterious tutor to help them with their problems.... some times it is best just to help yourself.
[ 2009 ATHENS PROJECT::TEENSCREEN ]
is a collaborative workshop project involving local teens in the script to screen production of short digital movies
athens area students meet weekly on saturday afternoons to work together on pre-production planning: screenwriting, character development, art design, casting, and technical crew skills
the team has wrapped production shooting and is currently working on post-production editing to complete their films and behind-the-scenes documentary about the production process to screen at the 2009 TEENSCREEN FILMFEST
