[ PROJECT #1 - NO CONCESSIONS - comedy/mockumentary ]
All actors will be required to do an improv scene at the audition.
MELISSA [female, age 17-22] Melissa has worked at the movie theater for four years. She is sarcastic and deadpan. She is best friends with the two main characters, Mitch and Zack, but her maturity level is way above the two characters. She rolls her eyes at joke and pranks pulled at the theater. She is also the object of Mitch's unrequited love.
JAMIE [male, age 23-45] Jamie is manager on duty at the movie theater. He is lazy, laid back, and sarcastic. He is also a jerk, but does not go out of his way to do so. He resents having to babysit his employees.
RICK [male, 17-25] Rick is the new employee at the movie theater and is not welcome by two of the veteran employees. He is working floor staff to get experience for the manager position. He is nice, very friendly, and is very into the underground music scene and independent film. While he is frustrated by their pranks, he does not retaliate because he knows he will soon be in control as their manager.
MITCH MITCHELL [male, 17-24] Mitch has worked at the movie theater for 4 years with his best friend Zack. He is funny, random, and slightly immature. Mitch is madly in unrequited love with Melissa, who also works at the theater. He is also loyal and slightly goofy.
EXTRAS - several theatre customers, all ages & types
[ PROJECT #2 - UNTITLED - psychological drama ]
BRAYDEN [male, 18-24] Your typical college aged younger male. He is rather calm and relaxed most of the time. Only at times will the slightest abrasiveness or awkwardness show, revealing his true inner problems.
PSYCHIATRIST [older male or female] Very sophisticated, does not slur or fuse words together, making speech very clear and presentable, almost soothing. In their sophisticated-ness, they are rather serious, yet can still care for their patient and/or crack a smile.
[ PROJECT #3 - WORKING TITLE: BUM RUSH - comedy ]
RAY [male, 12-17] Timid teenager cursed with bad luck. He isn't a bad person, but people seem to dislike and/or ignore him none the less. He is a bit of a pessimist and also a bit depressed.
PHIL-JOHN [adult male] A gruff-looking, insane, yet lovable hobo. All he wants to do is have fun ... and babble on about nonsensical conspiracy theories ...
WALTER [male, 12-17] A generic jerk. Big and tough-looking, as well as mean-looking. Hides behind the fact that he's part of the "social elite"

[ PROJECT #4 - UNTITLED - artistic drama ]
LOLA [female, mid 30's] Friendly but reserved - has a bit of a "wise" thing about her. The type of person who outwardly appears comfortable with herself, her career, and her life - but is actually frustrated and unsatisfied with conventional success, even though her life is going "according to plan"
STEPHANIE [female, mid 20's] Young, timid, sweet but self-conscious. Ambitious, wants to succeed socially and professionally. shy and self-conscious. Sometimes can be a little frantic. Feels a slight displacement, concerned with fitting in to her new surroundings.
